Your in-game identifiers, including your username, clan (squadron, etc.) name, and associated descriptions, represent you within the game. They contribute to other players' first impression of you and shape the overall gaming atmosphere. To maintain a positive environment and comply with Section 1 of the Game Rules, please follow the guidelines outlined in Sections 1.1 and 1.2 below.

1.1. Act Respectfully and Appropriately

Respect Intellectual Property. Ensure your content does not use copyrighted names or trademarks or infringe upon intellectual property rights.

Avoid Explicit, Cruel, or Offensive Content. Refrain from using words, phrases, abbreviations, or references that are sexually abusive or cruel, contain derogatory or offensive remarks, or have vulgar sexual meanings.

Do Not Misrepresent. Do not mislead other players regarding your affiliation with the Game(s)’ Administration, developers, or other game-related parties.

Follow Ethical and Moral Standards. Avoid content that could be considered obscene, violent, or abusive, including words, phrases, abbreviations, or references in any language or transliterations. If there is any doubt, the Administration will consider complaints from other players.

Comply With the Terms of Service. Ensure your username and content comply with the Game Rules and Terms of Service.

1.2. Avoid Controversial Figures and Symbols

Exercise Caution with Historical and Political Figures. Players should be mindful when using names or likenesses of historical and political figures, especially those associated with violent crimes or international offenses. This includes, but is not limited to, Nazi leaders, war criminals, and groups or organizations recognized internationally for involvement in organized crime, extremism, or terrorism, such as the SA, SS, SD of the Third Reich.

Violation of Game Rules. Using such names or references will be considered a violation of Section 1 of the Game Rules if it is likely to incite ethnic, racial, or religious conflicts, spread hatred or hostility, degrade human dignity, or encourage actions like forcefully overthrowing a government. This applies to content shared through game chats, other text or graphical elements within the game, game-related Service(s) (such as forums or official Website(s)), or any other medium involving prohibited content linked to the Game(s).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THE ORGANIZATIONS (GROUPS) OR FIGURES AS DESCRIBED BELOW ARE EXPLICITLY CONSIDERED A VIOLATION OF THE GAME RULES.

Organizations and Military Units. This includes current organizations, army units, and regiments that (a) commonly use symbols associated with the Third Reich, Nazi, Fascist, or neo-Fascist imagery (e.g., the swastika, Wolfsangel symbol, Sonnenrad symbol, Kolovrat, and abbreviations or numeronyms related to the Third Reich's names and slogans); or (b) are recognized by the UN Security Council as international terrorist organizations.

International Criminals. Individuals recognized as international criminals by international courts or tribunals, such as those identified by the Nuremberg Tribunal, the International Criminal Court, or the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.

1.3. Punishment and Sanctions

If you violate the naming rules as set out in Section 1 of the Game Rules, the following sanctions may apply:

Administration's Right to Amend Content. As a rule, the Administration reserves the right to unilaterally modify any infringing username, clan (squadron, etc.) name, slogan, logo, or any other textual or graphical element associated with a clan (squadron, etc.) without prior warning or notification to the player. In such cases, the amended username or clan name may be randomly generated or chosen at the Administration’s sole discretion.

Consequences of Repeated or Severe Violations. In the event of repeated or serious violations, the Administration may impose additional restrictions on the player, ranging from a 3-day suspension to a permanent ban, depending on the severity and circumstances of the violations. The Administration may also disband a clan or permanently block Game(s) access for some or all of its members.

ATTENTION. CERTAIN WORDS AND PHRASES THAT ARE NOT DIRECTLY PROHIBITED (SUCH AS THE NAMES OF CITIES, VILLAGES, AND GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS) MAY RESEMBLE OR BE HOMONYMS OF FORBIDDEN WORDS OR PHRASES. Avoid Harmful Discussions. Do not engage in or initiate discussions that could hurt others' feelings or lead to conflicts, such as racist comments, nationalism, or intolerance.

Respect Privacy. Do not disclose the personal data of other players or third parties.

No Threats. Making threats or anything perceived as a legitimate threat is strictly forbidden.

Do not Publicly Discuss Administration Actions. Avoid discussing the actions of the Administration in a public setting.

2nd violation: 4 days of Mute;

3rd violation: 7 days of Mute;

4th violation: 15 days of Mute;

5th – 9th violation: 30 to 120 days of Mute;

10th violation: permanent Mute.

Please note that the Mute durations listed above are standard guidelines. However, the Administration may adjust the duration based on the specific circumstances of the violation. Additionally, the Administration reserves the right to impose other appropriate sanctions, including permanent Game(s) access restrictions in severe cases.

3. COMPLAINT SYSTEM ABUSE

We encourage our players to communicate and report issues, but it is essential to use the system responsibly. Misuse or abuse of the in-game complaint system, as prohibited in Section 4 of the Game Rules, may result in restrictions to your Game(s) access as outlined below:

For a first-time violation, you may face a game access restriction of up to one day. In cases of repeated or severe violations, the game access restriction may range from one week to a permanent ban.

4. UNSPORTING CONDUCT

Playing our Game(s) means playing fairly. The following behaviors are considered unsporting conduct and are strictly prohibited under Section 2 of the Game Rules.

Griefing. Causing harm to teammates, also known as “friendly fire,” includes but is not limited to inflicting damage to teammates' vehicles or parts, destroying teammates' vehicles or parts, or disorienting teammates.

Blocking Teammates. Intentionally blocking teammates' movement, such as propping them up, pushing them out, or obstructing passages and driveways.

Exploiting Game(s) Bugs, Errors, and Flaws. Taking advantage of Game(s) bugs, errors, or flaws for personal gain.

Unauthorized Modifications and Software. Making unauthorized changes to the Game(s) software, using cheats or anything that automates the Game(s) process (e.g., bots, mods), altering gameplay or Game(s)’ functionality, giving an unfair advantage over other players, or otherwise modifying the gaming experience.

Inactive Gameplay and Deliberate Losing. Deliberately remaining inactive during a match (i.e., being “AFK”) or taking actions that lead to a loss, such as wandering around the map without completing objectives or avoiding engagement with opponents.

Fair Play Violations. Any other behavior that violates the spirit of fair play.

The in-game system may automatically detect and penalize specific unsporting behavior (e.g., “friendly fire”). In other cases, the Administration may manually review the situation to determine an appropriate punishment.

The Administration may impose a Game(s) access restriction for 3 to 7 days on any player who causes damage to or destroys a teammate's vehicle during Game(s) events.

5. BYPASSING SANCTIONS

All players are expected to respect the decisions made by the Administration. Suppose a player attempts to bypass imposed sanctions (e.g., by creating an additional Gaijin account). In that case, the Administration reserves the right to take further action, including suspending or deleting all related accounts.

6. GAME-SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

While the general guidelines above apply to all Game(s), please be aware that specific Game(s) may have additional rules or guidance. These can be found below or on the respective Gaijin Website(s) and forums dedicated to each Game(s).

6.1. CROSSOUT & CROSSOUT MOBILE

Inappropriate User-Generated Content. When creating game objects (such as equipment, constructions, or other items) in Crossout and Crossout Mobile, you are required to adhere to the restrictions on User-Generated Content outlined in Section 4.5 of Gaijin's Terms of Service. If you create or build game objects that are obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, the Administration may impose penalties accordingly.

Specifically, the Administration may permanently block your exhibition (if the violation occurred through the exhibition functionality) or restrict access to your summary interface (if an inappropriate build is displayed on your profile or summary page). The Administration may suspend or delete your Account in severe or repeated violations.

6.2. STAR CONFLICT

Penalty for Abandoning the Game Session Without Justification. Star Conflict is a team-based game, where the core of the gameplay and enjoyment relies on the collective efforts of all team members. For the integrity of the game and respect for your teammates, no player must abandon their team during a game session (combat).

Abandoning a combat session without a valid reason violates Section 2 of the Game Rules. The Administration may regard abandoning combat as a breach of this rule unless the player leaves due to server issues or game client failure (provided these issues are not intentionally caused by the player or third parties acting on their behalf).

If a player is sanctioned for this violation and wishes to appeal, they must reasonably explain their premature departure from combat.
