1. USERNAMES, CLAN NAMES, SLOGANS, LOGOS, AND DESCRIPTIONS

Your in-game identifiers, including your username, clan (squadron, etc.) name, and associated descriptions, represent you within the game. They contribute to other players' first impression of you and shape the overall gaming atmosphere. To maintain a positive environment and comply with Section 1 of the Game Rules, please follow the guidelines outlined in Sections 1.1 and 1.2 below.

1.1. Act Respectfully and Appropriately

Respect Intellectual Property. Ensure your content does not use copyrighted names or trademarks or infringe upon intellectual property rights.

Refrain From Hate Speech. Avoid using language or graphic elements that demean, insult, or target individuals or groups based on their race, religion, gender identity, nationality, disability, sexuality, political views, membership in any union or organization, or any other characteristic.

Avoid Explicit, Cruel, or Offensive Content. Refrain from using words, phrases, abbreviations, or references that are sexually abusive or cruel, contain derogatory or offensive remarks, or have vulgar sexual meanings.

Do Not Misrepresent. Do not mislead other players regarding your affiliation with the Game(s)’ Administration, developers, or other game-related parties.

Follow Ethical and Moral Standards. Avoid content that could be considered obscene, violent, or abusive, including words, phrases, abbreviations, or references in any language or transliterations. If there is any doubt, the Administration will consider complaints from other players.

Avoid Inappropriate References. Ensure that your username, clan (squadron, etc.) name, slogan, logo, or description does not reference or promote psychotropic substances, alcohol, tobacco, or their associated uses.

Maintain a Respectful Tone. Refrain from using content related to sexual abuse, cruelty, or explicit sexual meanings, including any form of explicit content, whether it is drawn, animated, or text-based.

Avoid Provocative Content. Do not use usernames or content that are insulting, inflammatory, or intended to provoke others.

Comply With the Terms of Service. Ensure your username and content comply with the Game Rules and Terms of Service.

1.2. Avoid Controversial Figures and Symbols

Exercise Caution with Historical and Political Figures. Players should be mindful when using names or likenesses of historical and political figures, especially those associated with violent crimes or international offenses. This includes, but is not limited to, Nazi leaders, war criminals, and groups or organizations recognized internationally for involvement in organized crime, extremism, or terrorism, such as the SA, SS, SD of the Third Reich.

Violation of Game Rules. Using such names or references will be considered a violation of Section 1 of the Game Rules if it is likely to incite ethnic, racial, or religious conflicts, spread hatred or hostility, degrade human dignity, or encourage actions like forcefully overthrowing a government. This applies to content shared through game chats, other text or graphical elements within the game, game-related Service(s) (such as forums or official Website(s)), or any other medium involving prohibited content linked to the Game(s).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THE ORGANIZATIONS (GROUPS) OR FIGURES AS DESCRIBED BELOW ARE EXPLICITLY CONSIDERED A VIOLATION OF THE GAME RULES.

Organizations and Military Units. This includes current organizations, army units, and regiments that (a) commonly use symbols associated with the Third Reich, Nazi, Fascist, or neo-Fascist imagery (e.g., the swastika, Wolfsangel symbol, Sonnenrad symbol, Kolovrat, and abbreviations or numeronyms related to the Third Reich's names and slogans); or (b) are recognized by the UN Security Council as international terrorist organizations.

International Criminals. Individuals recognized as international criminals by international courts or tribunals, such as those identified by the Nuremberg Tribunal, the International Criminal Court, or the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.

1.3. Punishment and Sanctions

If you violate the naming rules as set out in Section 1 of the Game Rules, the following sanctions may apply:

Administration's Right to Amend Content. As a rule, the Administration reserves the right to unilaterally modify any infringing username, clan (squadron, etc.) name, slogan, logo, or any other textual or graphical element associated with a clan (squadron, etc.) without prior warning or notification to the player. In such cases, the amended username or clan name may be randomly generated or chosen at the Administration’s sole discretion.

Consequences of Repeated or Severe Violations. In the event of repeated or serious violations, the Administration may impose additional restrictions on the player, ranging from a 3-day suspension to a permanent ban, depending on the severity and circumstances of the violations. The Administration may also disband a clan or permanently block Game(s) access for some or all of its members.

ATTENTION. CERTAIN WORDS AND PHRASES THAT ARE NOT DIRECTLY PROHIBITED (SUCH AS THE NAMES OF CITIES, VILLAGES, AND GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS) MAY RESEMBLE OR BE HOMONYMS OF FORBIDDEN WORDS OR PHRASES. THESE HOMONYMS MAY NOT BE USED AS USERNAMES, CLAN (SQUADRON, ETC.). NAMES, SLOGANS, LOGOS, OR DESCRIPTIONS.

2. FORBIDDEN CONTENT

We aim to foster a friendly and respectful environment in our Game(s). When interacting with others, whether through chat, sharing ideas, creativity, or personal content, please adhere to the restrictions outlined in Section 3 of the Game Rules. Specifically, these restrictions include the rules outlined below.

No Meaningless Messages. Avoid posting repetitive symbols or characters, abusing voice (radio) commands, or excessively using capital letters in Game(s) chats.

Prohibited Language. Do not use obscene, profane, or abusive language, either directly or indirectly. This includes altering words to bypass restrictions or using terms associated with illnesses or specific conditions.

Respect Others. Do not offend, insult, or discriminate against others based on race, religion, gender identity, nationality, disability, sexuality, political opinion, membership in any union or organization, or any other attribute. Hate speech will not be tolerated.

Avoid Harmful Discussions. Do not engage in or initiate discussions that could hurt others' feelings or lead to conflicts, such as racist comments, nationalism, or intolerance.

Respect Moral Standards. Do not post content that contradicts principles of morality and decency (e.g., discussing controversial historical events) or anything that could cause offense, insults, or controversies.

No Promotion of Third-Party Games. Do not promote third-party game projects or share external links unless they are directly related to our official Website(s).

No Misinformation. Spreading fake news, slander, or misleading information is prohibited. Misrepresenting your affiliation with the Game(s) developers or Gaijin Website(s) is also not allowed.

Avoid Sensitive Topics. Do not discuss or describe sexual behavior, violence, drugs, tobacco, or alcohol.

No Calls for Violence. The propagation of conflicts or encouragement of violent actions is strictly prohibited.

Respect the Game(s)’ Security. Do not discuss or share methods to breach the Game(s)’ protection or security measures or violate the Terms of Service.

Account Trading and Selling. Do not share information about trading, selling, or purchasing Gaijin Accounts, in-game items, or other valuables in violation of our Terms of Service. Trading, selling, purchasing or otherwise transferring an Account may result in a temporary or permanent Game(s) access restriction, including deletion of the relevant Account, and is not limited to a Mute.

Discourage Negative Behavior. Do not encourage others to stop playing the Game(s), refrain from purchasing content from the Gaijin.Net Store, or avoid participating in in-game activities, or organize or participate in coordinated attempts to manipulate ratings or reviews of the Game(s) or related Service(s) (“review bombing”), or otherwise disrupt the Game(s) or its community.

Respect Privacy. Do not disclose the personal data of other players or third parties.

No Threats. Making threats or anything perceived as a legitimate threat is strictly forbidden.

Do not Publicly Discuss Administration Actions. Avoid discussing the actions of the Administration in a public setting.

Violations of this Section may result in a temporary restriction on the Player’s ability to use text or voice communications within the Game(s) (“Mute”). For the purposes of determining the applicable Mute, the Administration may classify violations as either common or grave, taking into account the content, context, severity and circumstances of the violation.

Common violations are generally subject to the following sanctions:

1st violation: 2 days of Mute;

2nd violation: 4 days of Mute;

3rd violation: 7 days of Mute;

4th violation: 15 days of Mute;

5th–9th violation: 30 to 120 days of Mute, as determined by the Administration, with a final warning generally issued upon the 9th violation;

10th violation: 365 days of Mute.

Grave violations, including racism, hate speech, serious harassment, threats or similarly severe conduct, are generally subject to the following sanctions:

1st–4th violation: 30 days of Mute;

5th–9th violation: 30 to 120 days of Mute, as determined by the Administration, with a final warning generally issued upon the 9th violation;

10th violation: 365 days of Mute.

Where a Player’s violation history includes both common and grave violations, all violations will be counted cumulatively. The Administration will determine the applicable Mute based on the nature of the current violation, the Player’s previous violations and any aggravating or mitigating circumstances. Please note that the Mute durations listed above are standard guidelines. The Administration may impose a different or more severe sanction where justified by the nature, seriousness, recurrence or circumstances of the conduct, including a temporary or permanent Game(s) access restriction in severe cases.

3. COMPLAINT SYSTEM ABUSE

We encourage our players to communicate and report issues, but it is essential to use the system responsibly. Misuse or abuse of the in-game complaint system, as prohibited in Section 4 of the Game Rules, may result in restrictions to your Game(s) access as outlined below:

Misuse of the complaint system may result in a temporary or permanent restriction on the Player’s ability to submit complaints. In serious or repeated cases, particularly where complaints contain threats, violent content, harassment or other grave violations, the Administration may also impose a temporary or permanent Game(s) access restriction or another appropriate sanction.

4. UNSPORTING CONDUCT

Playing our Game(s) means playing fairly. The following behaviors are considered unsporting conduct and are strictly prohibited under Section 2 of the Game Rules.

Team Killing and Griefing. Causing harm to teammates or intentionally disrupting their gameplay, including, without limitation, inflicting damage on or destroying teammates’ vehicles or parts, blocking or obstructing their movement, pushing them out of position, disorienting them, interfering with their objectives or otherwise deliberately hindering their participation.

Exploiting Game(s) Bugs, Errors, and Flaws. Taking advantage of Game(s) bugs, errors, or flaws for personal gain or to obtain an unfair advantage or personal benefit.

Circumventing or Manipulating Gameplay. Circumventing or manipulating the Game(s), their mechanics, matchmaking, battles or intended operation for personal gain or to obtain an unfair advantage, such as by colluding with opponents or other Players.

Prohibited Software, Hardware and Circumvention. Using or attempting to use prohibited software, hardware or technical means that automate gameplay, alter the Game(s) or their functionality, bypass technical restrictions or anti-cheat measures, provide an unfair advantage, or otherwise compromise the integrity of the Game(s). This includes, without limitation, cheats, bots, macros, scripts, modifications, spoofers, device emulators and virtual machines used to circumvent anti-cheat measures, DMA hardware and firmware, hardware identity modification tools and similar technologies.

Restricted Technical Environments. Access to War Thunder sessions protected by the kernel-level anti-cheat system may be restricted if the Game(s) client is operated through virtualized environments or other technical configurations that are incompatible with, interfere with, or circumvent Gaijin's security or anti-cheat measures. Players must not attempt to bypass such restrictions or disguise the nature of the execution environment. Any such attempt may be treated as circumvention of the anti-cheat system and may result in penalties applicable to cheating, including a permanent Game(s) access restriction.

Inactive Gameplay and Deliberate Losing. Deliberately remaining inactive during a match (i.e., being “AFK”) or taking actions that lead to a loss, such as wandering around the map without completing objectives or avoiding engagement with opponents.

Fair Play Violations. Any other behavior that violates the spirit of fair play.

The in-game system may automatically detect and penalize specific unsporting behavior. The Administration may manually review any violation, determine the appropriate sanction, or increase, replace, or otherwise modify an automatically imposed sanction. Depending on the nature, severity, and recurrence of the violation, sanctions may include a temporary or permanent Game(s) access restriction, modification or cancellation of game results, removal of in-game benefits, or another appropriate measure.

5. BYPASSING SANCTIONS

All players are expected to respect the decisions made by the Administration. A Player must not attempt to evade, circumvent, or interfere with a sanction, including by creating or using another Account, using an Account controlled by another person, concealing or altering device identity, using hardware or software spoofing tools, or employing any other technical or organizational means to regain access. If a Player attempts to bypass a sanction, the Administration reserves the right to take further action, including suspending or deleting all related Accounts and restricting access from devices associated with the violation.

6. GAME-SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

While the general guidelines above apply to all Game(s), please be aware that specific Game(s) may have additional rules or guidance. These can be found below or on the respective Gaijin Website(s) and forums dedicated to each Game(s).

6.1. CROSSOUT & CROSSOUT MOBILE

Inappropriate User-Generated Content. When creating game objects (such as equipment, constructions, or other items) in Crossout and Crossout Mobile, you are required to adhere to the restrictions on User-Generated Content outlined in Section 4.5 of Gaijin's Terms of Service. If you create or build game objects that are obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, the Administration may impose penalties accordingly.

Specifically, the Administration may permanently block your exhibition (if the violation occurred through the exhibition functionality) or restrict access to your summary interface (if an inappropriate build is displayed on your profile or summary page). The Administration may suspend or delete your Account in severe or repeated violations.

6.2. STAR CONFLICT

Penalty for Abandoning the Game Session Without Justification. Star Conflict is a team-based game, where the core of the gameplay and enjoyment relies on the collective efforts of all team members. For the integrity of the game and respect for your teammates, no player must abandon their team during a game session (combat).

Abandoning a combat session without a valid reason violates Section 2 of the Game Rules. The Administration may regard abandoning combat as a breach of this rule unless the player leaves due to server issues or game client failure (provided these issues are not intentionally caused by the player or third parties acting on their behalf).

If a player is sanctioned for this violation and wishes to appeal, they must reasonably explain their premature departure from combat.
