Gaijin Press Kit Guidelines
The Gaijin Press Kit contains a broad variety of materials specifically designed for publications about Gaijin and our games, which may include screenshots, artwork, videos, logos, and more. These materials are available for free use under the conditions (“Guidelines”) set forth below.
1. GENERAL RULES
You may use the Press Kit materials solely for editorial or personal purposes as long as:
- You unconditionally and irrevocably adhere to the terms and limitations specified in these Guidelines; and
- Our logo, strictly as provided in the Press Kit, is included without modifications or distortion, and only in a manner that does not suggest that your content is created, endorsed, approved, or affiliated with Gaijin in any way, nor that there is any affiliation between you and Gaijin; the use of any other Gaijin logos, trademarks, or distinctive elements is not permitted by these Guidelines.
2. LIMITATIONS OF USE
You are not allowed to modify the Press Kit materials, except for making technical adjustments, such as resizing assets to fit specific formats or platforms, provided the content remains visually and contextually intact.
Additionally, any use in political, offensive, derogatory, unlawful, or other inappropriate contexts is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Promoting, distributing, or encouraging cheats, hacks, or other unauthorized software modifications for Gaijin’s games;
- Infringing upon third-party rights, including intellectual property rights;
- Using defamatory, abusive, harassing, or threatening language;
- Distributing nudity or material of a sexual or pornographic nature;
- Encouraging or facilitating criminal activity;
- Promoting, selling, or otherwise distributing unauthorized merchandise related to Gaijin, its games, or other projects;
- Engaging in conduct that harms or diminishes the value, reputation, or goodwill of Gaijin, its products, or its brands.
You are also not permitted to publish the Press Kit in its entirety as a standalone package. However, you may share unmodified materials from the Press Kit on your personal, non-profit social media channels, provided that Gaijin is clearly indicated as the source, as required by these Guidelines.
3. ADDITIONAL RULES FOR EDITORIAL USE
If you are a content creator or member of the media, you may use the Press Kit materials in accordance with the terms specified in our Guidelines for Content Creators.

4. ADDITIONAL RULES FOR PERSONAL USE
You are welcome to reproduce our Press Kit materials for non-commercial purposes only. This means you can, for example, print a poster, sticker, T-shirt, or other merchandise for yourself as long as you are using the materials for yourself and your personal needs only.
However, you are not allowed to sell any items made with these materials, or upload their digital copies to print-on-demand platforms, even if no profit is involved. You are allowed to produce no more than three (3) items of each merchandise type, and no more than five (5) items in total.
5. MISCELLANEOUS
Any use of the Press Kit that is not explicitly permitted under these Guidelines shall be deemed unauthorized. In no way do these Guidelines provide you with the right to make any modifications to the Press Kit content or other Gaijin’s protected works, or to sublicense any of your rights granted hereby.
You may not assign or otherwise transfer any rights granted to you by virtue of these Guidelines to any third party under any circumstances.
Gaijin reserves all rights not expressly granted herein. In the event of any violation of these Guidelines, as may be discretionally deemed by Gaijin, we reserve the right to revoke our permission at any time without prior notice, and require immediate removal or destruction of the produced, published, or distributed materials.
These Guidelines expressly form a part of Gaijin’s Terms of Service. For any matters not explicitly addressed here, the relevant provisions of the Terms of Service will apply. These may include, but are not limited to, governing law and jurisdiction, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, updates and modifications, severability, assignment, and termination.
Gaijin does not bear any explicit or implied responsibility for your use of Press Kit materials.
